Free KAEK lookup: find a land parcel in Greece

Search an address, type a KAEK or click the property on the map. You see the cadastral parcel's boundary, its KAEK and its mapped area for free, so you know you are looking at the right piece of land before you decide on anything else.

Click the property on the map to find its parcel.

What a KAEK is

The KAEK (ΚΑΕΚ, Κωδικός Αριθμός Εθνικού Κτηματολογίου) is the 12-digit code that identifies a parcel in the Hellenic Cadastre. Divided properties such as flats add two more numbers after slashes. You will find it on the property's cadastral sheet (κτηματολογικό φύλλο) or diagram, and sellers and agents can usually give it to you.

Three ways to find the parcel

  1. 01By address. Type a street address or a place name. We place a pin there, and you move it onto the property if needed.
  2. 02By KAEK. Enter the 12-digit code and we look up that exact parcel.
  3. 03On the map. Zoom in and click inside the property. If several parcels meet at that point, you choose the right one in the next step.

What the free lookup shows

  • The parcel boundary drawn on the map
  • Its KAEK
  • Its mapped area in square metres

The parcel comes from our downloaded copy of the Hellenic Cadastre's public data, dated 2 September 2026. It is not a live query and not an official cadastral extract. It does not show ownership, mortgages or other encumbrances, and corrections made after that date are not included.

What the paid report adds

Once you have confirmed the parcel, you can order a pre-check of it. Core (€19, VAT included) checks the parcel against the forest maps, flood maps and Natura 2000. Extended (€39) adds historic flood, coastal, land-cover, municipality, long-term climate, active-fault and OpenStreetMap context. Every finding comes with its source, its limits and questions for your lawyer or civil engineer.

It is a pre-check from public data, not a valuation or legal due diligence. It does not verify title, permits or whether you can build.

Questions about the KAEK lookup

Is the parcel lookup really free?

Yes. Finding the parcel and seeing its boundary, KAEK and mapped area costs nothing and needs no account. You only pay if you order a Core or Extended report for that parcel.

Is this the official Hellenic Cadastre?

No. Greek Property Check is an independent service. The parcel data is a downloaded copy of the Cadastre's public data dated 2 September 2026. For an official cadastral sheet or diagram, use the Hellenic Cadastre's own services or ask your lawyer or engineer.

Does the lookup show who owns the parcel?

No. Ownership, mortgages and other rights are on the cadastral sheet, which only owners and people with a legitimate interest can obtain. Ask your lawyer to check them.

What if no parcel is found?

Check the KAEK, or click inside the property rather than on a boundary. Some areas were not yet in full cadastral operation when the snapshot was taken. You can still pin the location and continue.
